We spoke earlier today. I ordered a g4 on 7/7 and received it on 7/8. Very fast. I programmed some on Saturday to see if my practice programming worked. It did but as we spoke today Colonie Fire would only receive transmissions intermittently. You offered a possible solution. That did work. I eliminated one site and reprogrammed. Also the charging station seemed too tight for the pager and you suggested to check the battery cover. Bingo you were right again. Thank you again for taking time to explain possible solutions. It was very helpful and much appreciated. Hofefully going forward I will be able to complete the installation. Mike

Very quick and efficient replacement battery service.

My area uses Simulcast P25 P2 and I am located nearly exactly in the center of three towers. While the Uniden 996P2 is a great scanner, it could not discriminate the trunked traffic. The Unication G5 has no problem at all! I can now hear dispatch and on-scene units perfectly, from anywhere in the County. The powered speaker/charging base is perfect for monitoring at home and keeps the pager charged up and ready to grab and go.

Excellent customer service. Had a question about the terminal connector for the Unication G5 Pager cradle. A human answered immediately and was very helpful and knowledgeable. Placed the order later that day through the website – very easy process. Received the parts 2 days later. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

On a side note – anyone using the Unication Pagers for a backup alerting solution through RF can use the horn relay on the cradle. Much easier to use than the DIN connector option.

G4- Love it. Best receiver I have found yet for P25 systems. Programming software a little clumsy at first but once I figured it out everything went fine. In June I purchased a Unication G5 from you. It’s the 700/800 and VHF model with the DMR option included. I use it as a scanner rather than a pager, and I really like the way it performs.
Primarily I listen to the Ohio MARCS trunked system. In my immediate area there are no simulcast sites, but when I travel it works flawlessly on those sites, too.
It turns out that the G5 really is one of my best radio purchases.

In short a plesant experience. I emailed Ray one day and the next day received answers about a G3 and the charger, speaker, and antenna unit. It took me about a week to decide on purchasing and when I emailed Ray by the end of the following day I received shipping confirmation. My order arrived July 5th and the following weekend after a friend programmed it I had a question and sent Ray an email about midnight. The very next day before 8:00 am I had my answer in my inbox.
If you have any doubts about dealing with Ray get them out of your head. I am now thinking of purchasing a 2nd radio for my Lady who never liked listening to emergency type of communications.

After several google searches for a unication dealer near me . I found a couple dealers that had a unication g5 in stock . Both dealers wanted to push programming on me DMR upgrades and sell me some amplifier speaker charging docking station . I was looking for a radio that can could handle p25 MPSCS system in Michigan and what I got was exactly what I wanted does everything I wanted it to do.

I ordered a G5 pager, received it on a Saturday, pager didn’t seem to charge ( all 3 lights on top were flickering red). I sent an email hoping to be called first thing on Monday, but was almost immediately answered back, and asked to call. Ray answered the phone and walked me through the problem, I must have bent the terminals for the battery trying to install it. This fixed the problem. I was very impressed and thankful for the quick response and product knowledge he had.

Everything with my pager was as expected. I am computer stupid so a friend activated it in a very short time. The only problem I have is with the belt clip. I removed it to put pager in the carry holder but when I tried to put belt clip back it was very hard to do. Friend said he, and others, have had this same problem. As a volunteer communicator across four agencies that support emergency and disaster related response in a timely fashion I find my unification V5 a very key tool and situational awareness and knowing my community needs Ray was wonderful to work with despite the distance in common interests we will be friends for life he did very well all of the shipping programming and various things that needed to happen were able to with the assistance of my fellow volunteers and it was shipped to my post office box without difficulty or delay.

I truly enjoyed my purchase experiences I needed to do this in stages because as we all know money is not real prevalent in several situations right now so I purchased my monitor in August of 2019 I made a second purchase of the support charger which was the base station charger in July of 2020, both of which were coordinated without difficulty.

Excellent product and highly recommend for a G4 or G5 pagers. The one weakness in the design is the USB-C charging port and the drop in charger and amplified charger solves the problem. Ray’s was very fast on the shipping.
